2020 Reflection

 This is my term four reflection one of the boxes is for what a goal is for next year another is for what we think we have done well .We took really funny photos on  toy camera and put them as the photos at the bottom it  was fun have a look at what goal I have for next year.

MR TWIT ART

 Today we made twit art!It was so fun.At school in class we have been reading a book called THE TWITS its a really good book its about.Well.You know.Twits its a story about twits the most twittyest twits Mr twit and mrs twit ugly people you will never have seen anyone as ugly but this is why we did art twit art we could ethier do mrs twit or mr twit I did mr twit because he looked easy to draw but anyway this is how it turn out comment how you think I did.

I chose to add pastel sort of colours because I like pop and exciting.We had to click a link that led us to art colouring book where we had to choose a picture when we had chose our picture we started to colour it we made our own version of it.After we had finished colouring we had to take a screenshot of the original and download our own version.

My camp wevideo with music!!!!!

 Today the year fives of room three made a wevideo of camp it was so fun .First we had to sign in to wevideo and insuret the photos that we thought were cool so I chose the photos I liked and then I made a really cool video with rock music so if I was you go look at it when your done reading this.It was really hard to get this done in time because the teacher said she was gonna look at our blogs but anyway I think this was one of my favorite tasks I have been given.I hope you like it .

My all souls day flowers

 These are my all souls day flowers.They are for my dead grandparents.The pink flower is my mums mum and the blue one is my dads dad. In the process of making these flowers I chose two suns and rotated them till one of the sun's triangles were in the gaps of the others. After rotated the suns I ask my mum and dad what their parents favourite colour was but they don't remember so I chose pink for my grandma and blue for my grandpa. Do you know what all souls day celebrate's? if you don't let me tell you.All souls day is when christians remember souls that have passed away and have left earth. I hope you have enjoyed what I shared with you today.

The year fives & sixes of st marys are going to camp at tui ridge and I am one of them  this is what we have to do at tui ridge.

WE MADE SLIME!!!!

today we were learning SCIENCE!!!!!/inquiry we where learning the difference between liquid,gas and solid surfaces .These surfaces are physical and with liquid and solid ingredients we made slimy stuff now ill tell you how we made it. First our teacher miss A Gave us a cup of water and a sheep that had all the instructions on it.Then asked us to go get a half a cup of water .The kids who got down to the mat first with their water got to put the next ingredient in .After we had put all the ingredients in we some borax and before we finished after we mixed it for about 2 minutes it turned all gooey and clumpy  so that means it's turned from liquid to solid and that's what we were learning for inquiry and science today . After we had Played with our slime and had lots of fun the teacher said we could take her home so I did . 

  

A Tree??

Today at school for spelling, we had the option to either do word art or do a little spelling piece of work.  Of course everyone chose  word art on their computer. We had to To choose a word.from a list the words were Walked,climbed,walk,went,ran. I settled on the word climbed because not many people had selected climbed but I did!. We then went on a dictionary website and typed the word in the search bar and chose from a whole bunch of different words you can't even imagine so we had to choose 10 or 5 Words and write them down on the website.After  I had coloured the words, chosen the fonts, and chose the image. I was done! finished with my creative word art.
 

My three little pigs scenario

today we had to make the three little pigs house after 8.9 earthquake you could ether make it on chromebook or in your reading book.In the process of making this I made a google drawing and made a cube a large as the page for the background and got clouds and ctrl+D for the chunks of dirt that had fallen into the water and polly line for the three little pigs broken down house.A part too of the three little pig new 3d house is coming soon stay tuned.

My term three reflections

 today we were making reflections on a highlight of learning the goal that was mastered and my new term four goal In the process of making this we had to go on to the inquiry page on room three hub of learning and make a copy then we stared to write this and now its on my blog go comeet if you like it!

My maori quiz!

 Today I we played a kahoot for maori language week after we had played the kahoot we have to make a learn create share so first we had to do the kahoot then we had to make a slide that's like a dichinery but in maori and we had to draw the things that they meant but I made a quiz instead  so i made a few slides and put correct and wrong then my slide was complete.How do you celebrate maori language week? comeet below.

My prayer space!

 This is my first prayer space I hope you guys like it because i've never made one before.

In the process of making the prayer space  I was collecting things around the house that I though represented god and the holy spirit If you are wondering why i'm making a prayer space i'm doing it for homework my teacher miss Steele made a challenge for us make a prayer space at home themed environment and post it on your blog so I did.when I got home I got to work so first I got a tablecloth then I got my big brothers candle, after I got a stag antler, an orange, a teddy of mine, a plant and a crystal. After I had got everything into place I lit the candle. There we are, I hope you like my prayer space!.

We were leaning about what shellfish pick up and what happends.So we stared a science project and what happened was when we put the clean water in it look like clean water then when we mixed it together it turned a peppermint green it was really cool.The thinks we needed was a funnel,instructions,funnel paper bekeis if you didn't know what bekeis they are like measuring cups.

I liked it when we had to choose if we should be allowed to eat shellfish and if you want to find out go look after you've read this.I found it hard to decide what I should choose with the should we be allowed to eat shellfish but still if you want to know go look and comment.

my persuasive writing

 today I was learning how to write persuasive writing so that when we write speeches we can use this why of writing.when we were writing in our books we had to add a title,a into.

Exploring blogs

 Today our class was learning about what can make your blog better and what will make people want to read all of your posts.Before we stared writing about what can make our blog better and what we want we look at three kids two from Matawi and one from St marys our school we look at there AMAZING blogs and we look at how many people from other countries have visited there blogs then we wrote it down on the slides.

When we started our learning cybersmart first we had to SMARF the slides then we went and looked at   what year they were what school they were from and something interesting about them.Then we moved on to the next slide and then we wrote about how many views they had and how many people from other countries had visited their blog.

After we did all that we came to the end we finished all the writing and had a look at there blog we made a new blog post used a catchy title and here we are comment down below and tell me what you think.

My before and After blog post!

 Today I was learning about how to edit and make a quality blog post.When we edited our not as good blog post we were try to make it as good as we could get it so we started writing.I was telling myself what could I do to make my blog post better so when you look at my drawing you will see what I improved.

I enjoyed editing my work and making it way more amazing then it was before and editing what didn't make sense.When I looked at my unfinished work I tried to see what I could improve so I did what I could do.

I found it challenging to find what was not a quality blog post.When I was making a poor quality to quality piece of writing I had to read though and make sure it made sense which I didn't think was too hard.

My digital learning object shows that I did a before and after piece of work.I worked hard to try finish it in time.

Next time I would add more writing and extend my sentences.

Giant Panda report

 Today I was learning about how to wright a report and to use paragraphs.We started on a giant panda report as a class then we moved on to sea creatures go look at that post .

My new learning was about how to do report writing the right way.We have been doing that for most of the week and were still doing it!

I enjoyed it because I really like animals and I loved to edit my work.When I do wright my Giant Panda report down on my chromebook I try to make sure that I have good interesting facts. 

I found it challenging to get all the keywords down and putting them into long sentences.I also found it hard to make sure that I have interesting enough fact to hook the readers into my work because everyone likes a little cool facts right .

Today I was learning how to write a report and to use subheadings.

I enjoyed publishing and editing on my chromebook.

I found it challenging to find the good facts and information. 

My digital learning object shows that i've learning about Stingrays and that I can insert a doc into my blog.

Next time I would try to extend my sentences in my report.

I found it easy to read.

I found it hard to screencastify it.

I really enjoyed reading the interesting book.

Next time I need to have a different tone.
